REPORTS:
June 25, 2011  Yesterday, we "rolled Mabon in" and tossed him into the sky, to start our Solstice celebration on Floribundant Farm.
Our Circle was comprised of a friendly dog, a sky full of birds, a universe of green beings and 17 bi-peds (3 of them teens); all lending hands, hearts, voices, and bare toes! Resident host, David, additionally shared his skills on djembe and talking drum.
This was followed by an astounding potluck and a snapping bonfire, while Rick Much seranaded us with classical guitar and languages from below the equator. Divertions included touring the orchard, little Hawaii (the green house) and the crystal mandala; as well as an occassional "Moo!" or flurry of gossiping chickens  ~Hayra
July 9, 2011  Dances on the Farm were an incredible success! Even the weather was perfect! We had 25-35 people show up: some from our regular Seattle dance circle and a whole lot of locals, which made for a wonderful eclectic group of people. At one point I looked up from my drum and saw a man who looked fresh off of motorcycle, with his tatoos and torn tee shirt, helping show a grandma how to do "Thy Light is in all Forms".
The farm is an incredible venue. What a blessing to have people share this wonderful space with us!!! Illuminata, who has decorated the farm with a couple hundred chunks of rose quartz, made incredible dishes & desserts for us. She kept bringing more plates of food out of her kitchen, including 2 huge frozen raw fruit pies made w/ strawberries, roses & other wonderful fruits from the gardens.
David was kind enough to HAND MOW a huge area for us to dance in after his ride mower broke. He also made us a huge bonfire after it began getting cooler in the evening. He's a wonderful drummer and joined the many Seattle musicians, including Phil and Hayra on Guitar and wind instruments, Rick on cello and Hayra's son Ryan with his great talent on Flute.
All the people of the farm were so kind to let us all dance there. I'd like to publicly thank Shamora, who owns the farm, for very kindly welcoming us all into her farm and home. We enjoyed touring the magnificent greenhouse.
Even coming from Federal Way, Stanwood isn't as far away. Carpooling helped, but it seemed a short drive up I-5 and not far off the freeway. I'm sure it seemed closer because we were all so entranced with the beautiful scenery and the little towns.
It was a wonderful day. We all had a really great time. I'm looking forward to the next Dances on the Farm on August 6.  ~Tasnim
